In Star Trek: Picard, the Picard family chateau plays a prominent roll. We see it crisp and clean in 2400 at the start of the show, in flashbacks of Jean-Luc's childhood in 2315 and in 2024 where the above concepts were set. This version went through a few different iterations in concept. While some of the more expensive and time consuming features like the busted ceiling we cut, the final concepts ended up being much more bare and I think helped us realize that more dressing, cobwebs and overall age were really what we were after.
