There's lots of star ship in season 2 of Picard, but the real focus of the season is the Chateau. It plays as a kind of reflection of the psyche of the character and undergoes multiple changes over the course of the season. This is version is where we find Picard in episode 1 in the year 2400. Under the direction of production designer Dave Blass, set designer James Addink and I explored the space pushing and pulling things around as scripts changed until this design was left standing. This image was painted over a Sketchup/Twinmotion base and includes shots of the actual set dressing provided by our decorator Tim Stepeck. The goal was to make it as accurate to the final product as possible in order to make sure everyone was on board with the look and feel of the set.
