Dahj was deathly allergic to sunlight and had a rare disease that required constant attention. Her father built her living quarters right next to his lab so he could study the affects of her sickness and treat her as efficiently as possible. We wanted to add as many natural features as we could squeeze in to give the set the feeling of being outdoors even though it was underground. PD - Dave Blass
