The Clan of the Painted Dog lives deep in the vast forest of Chryson, keeping mostly to themselves. However, their scouts hunt for signs of tenin, a sacred liquid vital to their survival.

Process
This is part of a personal project I’ve been working on in my free time. I’ve always had dogs and always wished I could ride them, which is more or less the genesis of this.) It’s fun to take a little seed of fantasy and just let it grow.
I sketch all over the place, pencil, procreate gravity, etc, and then collect them in PS. I used Blender for the illustration’s base, Gscatter & Botaniq for the foliage. Human Gen for the base character and then custom armor, weapons, helmet. I sculpted the pups in Blender based off maned wolves, fennec fox with a little sprinkle of cheetah. The fur is also Blender - custom gear there as well. Then PS to tie it all together.
